Creative cohorts and I

Fan labour refers to creative activities engaged in by fans, primarily those of various media properties or musical groups.

This fan studio is like a teenager's bedroom covered in posters and drawings: pop culture ephemera and homespun creations like the Doctor Who episodes I made.

It's a place to play without commercial limitations or contractual obligations. House style is slightly sci-fi, and culty in various flavours.

My life as an artist began as a singer, in 1968 – mostly just vowels but I was only a few seconds old at the time! From 1981 I've been a filmmaker and have been active in other creative disciplines.

In my fan films and fake TV, please don't be put off by my lot imitating shows you know and characters you love. Having aimed cameras and mics at them, I'm showing them off as best I can. You're among friends when my friends are onscreen, and you're welcome to the party.

My handle 'beeblePete' is a reference to Zaphod Beeblebrox, a silly sci-fi character with two heads and an American accent. As a Londoner from the States, those attributes kind of apply to me.

If I interest you in someone's work that I've played with here, you can thank me by buying from them; I'll be proud to have sent them your business.

If you want to get involved in the profitless nonsense I get up to here, drop me a message.

If you've work to be done I could help, please visit my creative agency PeteFagan.studio.

Between work and play, I'm also the sysadmin of the internet's best television museum, TVARK.

At this moment, please pardon the dust – this place is very much under construction as I'm uniting my first · two tries here.

So, that's the lot - and it's a lot! Thanks for stopping by.
